Barry Rafe Joins PFS

PFS is pleased to announce the appointment of Barry Rafe BSc FIAA FIACD as a Principal.

Barry is a consulting actuary focused on strategy, governance and high level operational issues in the financial services industry.

He said “I have worked with many of the PFS consultants before and they are a high calibre team. I am looking forward to working with them to assist major financial services clients, including superannuation funds, in this period of systemic change ”.

Barry is moving back into consulting after a period of study where he undertook postgraduate research in philosophy. Barry is the immediate past president of the Actuaries Institute and has held senior consulting positions as a strategy partner at Accenture and head of the financial services practice at Trowbridge Consulting. Barry has also held senior management positions with AMP and Mellon Bank.
